The team at Montrose County Housing Authority is here to help you. Whether you have general questions or need assistance completing the necessary paperwork for the Housing Choice Voucher Program, our staff is available BY PHONE ONLY from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

If you would prefer to meet in person, we can schedule an appointment for you to meet with one of our team members. We schedule In-person meetings between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Can’t make it during our regular business hours? That’s okay: you may turn in any paperwork anytime after hours using our locked drop box.

Board of Commissioners

Per C.R.S. 29-4-505, the Montrose County Housing Authority shall constitute a public body, corporate and politic, exercise public and essential governmental functions, and have all the powers necessary and convenient to carry out and effectuate the purposes of the authority. The Housing Authority Board of Commissioners reviews recommendations and information concerning the business affairs and policies of the Authority.

The MCHA Board of Commissioners conducts monthly business meetings on the last Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. at 1845 S. Townsend Avenue, Montrose.
